Discordance basically means opposition: in our vision it’s the act of being oriented to a not belligerent or competitive confrontation which is opened and fluid, and is configured as a dance (discor-dance), a constructive exchange of opinions, thoughts and action that has nothing to do with intolerance. The figures move on the nocturnal blue background, contemplative and turbulent (painted with the blue bic pen), configured as a space of metamorphosis and change. This is also the space of thought that hosts and generates the "discordance" the discrepancies, and every kind of comparisons, made both with the others and with ourself.
In every comparison there is always a divergent motion, as the figures show in their entirety, and a power play, like the figures in the foreground playing tug of war. They discordance with others but also with themselves always generates a metamorphosis that can make our "life dance" better.
